Deleted mail

I was with a company who used Roundcube for their email service.

I had emails forwarded to a hotmail account as a back up.
They told me I had to do that.

Before I left the company, cleaned out the SENT file, deleted the trash folder.

Today I received a message in my hotmail account that an email had been forwarded from there (the deactivated round cube account in my name) to the company office... but I know that the email they forwarded was a long deleted email.

What ?
I am not computer techy at all.
Do I ned to be worried that they are in my hotmail? Or can they just get into all those deleted emails ?

Any sys-admin worth anything will have backups but can't say why something was forwarded, its not really Roundcube related. I wouldn't think there in your Hotmail but if your worried just change the password.
