Constantly says "Loading ..." for message preview and others [RESOLVED]

If Message Preview is turned on, I get "Loading..." at the bottom of my screen.  It never displays the message.  If I double-click the message, it opens into a new window, and it works fine.   The settings page exhibits the same problem.  If I click something like "Mailbox view" it just sits there with a "Loading ..." message.

Problem is both Roundcube 1.0.5 and 1.1.2 (so likely not a problem in Roundcube but in configuration).  This used to work and I don't see what has changed.  The webserver is tengine (nginx) and php-fpm.  I can post any of the configs, but was curious if anyone had run into this before and knew what the problem was.

Incidently, spell check is broken, both in my roundcube and in this forum.  Almost everything has a red underline!

Figured this out.  Do not set X-Frame-Options to DENY!
