i was wondering if there is any way to customize roundcube so that my hosting providers copy of roundcube could be..."seeded" in any way with some config stuff that might be domain wide, such as maybe having a global address book, and creating a set of setup parameters that would be defaults for all the mailboxes created.

i don't want to limit access to settings for my clients, just a uniform initial box setup, not the default one.  i know they aren't going to let into server config files on their end for a $20/yr hosting sale, but just hoping someone might have thought about this kind of wierdo trick?

I'd also like to be able to stuff an address book with some system wide offerings, across a domain instance of Roundcube.  it would be nice if i could offer some customization to the interface, but without having access to the actual server files, any ideas?

thanks much, feel free to dunce cap me if this is way kindergarten...:)wdvmva

Why don't you just setup your own instance of Roundcube?
