Hello,
I installed Roundcube on a ubuntu 14.04 server running postfix. All tests have succeeded, besides of the login test.

Let me know what information to provide and I will provide it to resolve this issue.

I cannot access the installer anymore, but when I try to log in it says "Failed to connect to IMAP Server".

have you checked your IMAP server is running ok? can you connect to it from other clients or from telnet?
Roundcube Plugins: Contextmenu, SpamAssassin Prefs, and more...

How do I check that?
Also, could it be that I need dovecot for this? I only have postfix installed.

SKaero

You would need some sort of IMAP server, if you only have postfix install you wont be able to use Roundcube because postfix is only SMTP. You need both an IMAP and SMTP server to use Roundcube.

Alright, will install one later tonight because I don't have time right now. I didn't install dovecot because I had no idea what it is.

Once I have it installed, where do I need to enter the IMAP Server info in the configuration file, if I have to enter it at all?

SKaero

You would want to set the $config['default_host'] in the config.inc.php.

It is working. However, it will only let log in with username/password, not [email protected]/password.
When I log in, I am logged in as user@localhost, not [email protected]

Not a roundcube issue, the login is controlled by you IMAP server

Try setting mail_domain in your roundcube config to the domain you want. Note: this setting only applies to users who login to roundcube for the first time after it has been set.
