So I am buying a website from a friend on Dreamhost, and I would like to use Roundcube for webmail there.  (It is no longer available natively, or even as a one-click install.)

I have been reading over the installation guide on the wiki.  The control panel for dreamhost includes SQL database creation, and I can upload files to the webmail subdomain.  I'm not entirely sure how to proceed, and I was hoping to benefit from the experience of Roundcube users.

Should should have everything you need, just create a database for Roundcube, upload the files and run the install. Here is the installation documentation: https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/wiki/Installation
