Layout won't be saved, recieve error in error-log

Hi. I have 2 qestions/problems

I have used Roundcube for many years. I use hMailserver as mail service and Xeams as spam-filter. It is running in IIS enviroment on WinServer 2012R2
PHP 7.1.7 and using mySQL as database

Q1: When i upgraded from 1.2.3 to 1.3 the layout will not be saved... eg: when i change from preview pane to no preview pane. in the log file it says:

Can anyone help me find out why?

Q2: When trying to toggle between list and thread view, nothing happends. It is like if the buttons don't work. This is also on version 1.2.3. It might have been like this for some time, I just discoreverd it now when I am struggling with Q1...

Looks like you might be using a skin or plugin that is not compatible with Roundcube 1.3.

I removed one by one all plugins, and only run larry 1.3 skin. Didn't help...

I found out now, that this occurs when using the old Larry theme. Roundcube 1.3 does not support any of the themes older than 1.3. I use several custom themes based on logon domain that is based on the old Larry. The config-option preview_pane is also abandoned.

Well. So then i must change all my custom themes to be based on the new "flat" Larry.

Is there any workaround så it will support older skins?
