Whilst trying to delete some emails from my inbox via roundcube ?

I clicked on the 'inbox' and accidentally checked the 'compact' which now means all emails have gone from inbox and an error comes up how can I retrieve and rectify?

Server Error: SELECT: Internal error occurred. Refer to server log for more information. [2017-08-30 09:13:12] (0.000 + 0.000 + 0.044 secs).

Can anyone help please!
