Using CKEditor instead of TinyMCE?

Hi there. I really, really hate TinyMCE now since a long time. I try to avoid the usage of TinyMCE in my personal projects where ever i could, its just a pain to find workarounds for all the issues with this editor. Over the time I developed a really strong personal dislike for TinyMCE. So I wanted to ask, if it is planned to replace TinyMCE with CKEditor? Or is there already a plugin for it? Or has someone from the Community done it successfully?
