Receiving emails meant for other email address

I received a few emails that were not addressed to my email address.

My email address is [email protected]. But I also received emails addressed to [email protected].

Both domain names are almost similar but there was no typo in the email address being sent. 

Should this be a concern? Does this mean that emails that are meant for me could also be sent to the other domain name?

You should contact your email provider they will be able to check the message and see if its simply spam or if something has gone wrong somewhere.
