connection to imap server failed

Hi, I have a problem with imap and smtp configuration. It tells me that the connection to the imap server failed in the configuration, but it doesn't tell me anything, I use postfixadmin dovecot and roundcube. The problem is probably in the settings of roundcub I use version 1.4.11 Please advice.

Did you solve your problem in the meantime?

Check whether your MTA is offering it's services at 143 at all
ss -tlpn

Check your firewall settings
iptables -nvL
nft list ruleset

Check selinux
sestatus
