Messages deleted from trash

How do I keep items in the trash for more than 1 week. My items are being deleted each day automatically. I do not have anything checked to clean up messages in the trash folder when exiting. I would like to keep trash in there for a while longer in case I need to refer back to something I thought I didn't need.

If you are not the person who runs your email then please contact them for support. If you have not enabled the setting in Roundcube then it will not be Roundcube which is deleting the messages.

I am the only person who manages the email and Roundcube is the only software being used, so I still have no idea how/why they are being deleted. It did not used to be this way and nothing was changed on my end.
