If I view a mail in RoundCube, will the same email be available to download via the standard POP method when I get back to my main machine? Or Does Roundcube keep it?

If I can still POP download the mail, what happens if i add the mail to a folder in RoundCube, does RoundCube keep a copy of it and allow POP Mail download still ?

Thanks,

1.) standard POP method . . . POP Mail download
Roundcube doesn't use the POP protocol to retrieve email.
2.) If I view a mail in RoundCube, will the same email be available to download
Yes, if you access with roundcube, the message will stay on the server.
3.) Or Does Roundcube keep it?
Roundcube, with caching enabled, keeps a copy of the message in a database.
4.) what happens if i add the mail to a folder in RoundCube, does RoundCube keep a copy of it and allow POP Mail download still ?
Yes, because as stated before, RC doesn't use POP so everything is done server-side. So changes you make will be available outside of the RC interface in other programs.

Hope that answers any questions.

Hello. I have standard pop3 and roundcube installed. When I read messages from roundcube i can`t download them via pop3 (/var/mail/username is empty) .How to do to rc do not delete messages from /var/mail/username when I run it?

Roundcube is an IMAP client, not a pop3 client. Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to support POP in the future.

thats really strange, i have had no problems with some of my clients who work that way, they may read there email when out and about but when they get home they still manage to download to outlook ok.
