probelm during roundcube installation

I tried to install Roundcube on  my website . I got the following message:

Check for required 3rd party libs
This also checks if the include path is set correctly.

PEAR:  NOT OK(Failed to load PEAR.php; See http://pear.php.net)
DB:  NOT AVAILABLE(Use MDB2 instead)
MDB2:  NOT OK(Failed to load MDB2.php; See http://pear.php.net/package/MDB2)
Net_SMTP:  NOT OK(Failed to load Net/SMTP.php; See http://pear.php.net/package/Net_SMTP)
Mail_mime:  NOT OK(Failed to load Mail/mime.php; See http://pear.php.net/package/Mail_mime)
iilConnection:  NOT OK(Failed to load lib/imap.inc)

Checking php.ini/.htaccess settings
file_uploads:  NOT OK(is '', should be '1')

My host  does  not allow htaccess

I downloaded the 0.2 beta... After uploading on my server, I called the index.php and got the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /xxxxxxx/program/include/main.inc on line 74

I watched the sourcecode, but I don't find the error... Please help...
