403 Forbiden

I am trying to install Roundcube but seem to have some trouble. This is what I have done so far and followed the installation instructions. I created a DB and user in MySql uploaded the mysql.initial.sql in phpMyAdmin. I go to the installer and I am getting 403 Forbidden access.

You don't have permission to access /roundcubemail-0.2-beta/installer/ on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?


There are a couple other things I have tried. I changed the roundcubemail folder permission to 777 and also deleted the .htaccess
