[0.2-beta] Downloading attachments from a slow server wows

Hi,

I have the 0.2-beta RC running on a Mac with MAMP PRO 1.7.2. It looks sleek and works well so far but there is a problem when I try to download an attachment. My Internet connection is pretty slow, so it can take several minutes to download a 5 MB file. I've already increased max_execution_time to 300 and max_input_time to 600 in php.ini and restarted Apache but it doesn't make any difference.

The problem is that the download breaks after a while. It works as expected and after a while I can see the pane "Checking for new messages...". When this pane disappears the download stops. It looks like closing this pane closes also the download.

It isn't the file to download. It works perfectly in a local network, i.e. the connection is much faster. The download doesn't break at the same size, when the server is busy then the downloaded file is smaller.

Is it a bug? How can it be fixed? Or did I miss something in configuration?
