MySQL not seen Installer

I'm new to RoundCube.  I'm trying to get it going with:

RHEL Server release 5.2 Beta
httpd-2.2.3-11.el5_1.3
php-5.1.6-20.el5
mysql-5.0.45-6.el5

I setup the MySQL database as indicated in the install, then I connection to the http:/installer site.  It comes up fine, but when I proceed to the Check Environment, it doesn't detect that MySQL is available.  I can probably do the manual install rather than using installer, but I'm guessing I have something wrong in my configuration if the installer doesn't see MySQL.  How can I debug this?

I found the solution to my problem with the Installer web page not recognizing I had MySQL installed.  I needed to install the php-mysql module, then the installer recognized MySQL, and things proceeded properly.  Should this be added to the installation instructions for Linux??

I found it, it is in the installer to the PHP installations msi file ..



Im using a XP SP3 ....
