Sending and saving emails

I am having an issues sending and saving. When i try to send, a box at the top of the page reads "sending message". it stays for a minute or so then disappears. The message is never sent. Same with saving. Can anyone help?
Also, try to be gentle in wording as i am no expert with this stuff.

What do RoundCube logs say? Also check your IMAP server logs ...
