New messages collected by AJAX call showing twice

Hi,

When I either click on the check mail icon or leave it to auto-check my mail account, when there are new messages waiting, thy show twice in the message list.

If I click on the lower of the two duplicate messages showing it will not select. Instead it selects the other message above.

If I refresh the browser only one new message shows.

I have tested it in FF3 and Safari (both on Mac) and get the same result.

It seems that it is something to do with the AJAX call which checks for new messages.

I have attached a screenshot to demonstrate the behaviour.

I am using the latest stable release of RC - v.02.

I hope someone can help
