Found the workaround in this thread: http://www.roundcubeforum.net/pending-issues/4523-install-troube.html

Any clues why this isn't being done automatically, or why I might be missing the relevant button?

I think there have been a few posts about this. can anybody confirm the button is defianlty missing and if so file a bug report @ http://trac.roundcube.net/. Thanks

I can confirm it is definitely not there. Then again, I can't find a register button on that stupid trac either.

I am using Firefox 3.0.2 on Fedora 9 Linux. The server is CentOS 5.3 with PHP 5.2.9 and MySQL 5.0.77.

There is definitely no relevant button at step 3 in the install. I read somewhere that there should be an "Initialize Database" button on this screen. I did text searches of the HTML source even to confirm that it is not there.

Ok, I got to my code this morning and found the problems. I have opened a ticket and attached a patch #1485802 ("Initialize Database" button missing from installer) ? RoundCube Webmail :D. Thanks for confirming it.

yeap iamvoyager,i agree with you, I think the reason for this is that the MySQL tables were never set up in the "webmail" database I had specified............
