Cannot receive webmail

I am unable to receive mail using RoundCube or any other webmail client.  I have tried this on three different computers with three different browsers and none of them work.  I also had someone in another state log on to my account and they were not able to retreive any emails either.  I have no problems receiving email on my computer using my normal email software(Thunderbird).  I have made sure Thunderbird is shutdown when I'm trying to receive email through a webmail client.  I have no problem sending emails from a webmail client.  I've checked all the folders and the emails are not in any of them.  In addition, I've tried to troubleshoot this with my web hosting tech support and they claim they can receive emails at two different locations.  I've searched high and low for an answer on google... no luck.  So, I'm hoping someone here might have a clue.  Thanks.

What I discovered is that I could not see the emails because I was logging in using the wrong username.  The username I was using was for server access which is different from the email username.  I was still able to log on and send emails and see what was in the sent folder, but that's all.  Seems like an avoidable problem, but there it is.
