Problems with hMail v5.2.1

I'm using hMail v5.2.1 with RoundCube 0.3.

using hMail v5.2.1 I'm getting "Invalid response code received from server" reported by RoundCube when trying to send a message. Reading etc. is fine.

All SMTP settings are correct.

Has anyone else seen this problem and/or have any idea what the problem might be?

I've been using v0.2 and v0.3 with hMail v5.1.2 with no problems so I'm guessing it might be an hMail problem, but seems strange!

Could you please try hmail 5.3 (beta) ... There are some RoundCube fixes ...

By accident (or, more correctly, trying different settings!), I've found the problem.

RoundCube setting "smtp_server".

If set to nothing (to use PHP mail()), that works OK.

If set to %h or a domain, it fails with the errors indicated.

Either setting works fine on hMail 5.1.2.

Now which end is wrong is another matter entirely, but it's working again!
