Can't login

Good morning

I am new to mail server and webmail, however I have intalled hMailServer and SquirrelMail using IIS7, and MySQL on to Windows 7 (internal - not public facing).

I have found the install instructions and process to be remarkably simple.  How ever I am stuck.  In hMailServer I have created 2 accounts (info and webmaster on the yyz.com domain).  In SquirrelMail I can login to both account easily, yet when I try with RC I get

PHP Notice:  Could not connect to hMailServer at port 143: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: No such host is known.  in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\roundcube\program\include\bugs.inc on line 86

and

PHP Warning:  Error writing to log file logs/errors; Please check permissions in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\roundcube\program\include\main.inc on line 1053

The 2nd error I don't understand as the WebMail Installer shows:

Check if directories are writable
RoundCube may need to write/save files into these directories

temp/:  OK
logs/:  OK

Please help

Apologies - tried various values (mail, hMailServer etc) for $rcmail_config['default_host'] and finally put in the machine name and everything worked
