New Install, what did I do wrong?

I installed the newest RoundCube beta,

I can connect/send/recieve from in Evolution but when I try to login from RoundCube I get,

File not found
Change this error message for pages not found in public/404.html

If I change the connection string for mysql to one I know doesn't work I get,

SERVICE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE!
Error No. 1f4)

What can I do to solve this?

I have,
FC5
MySQL 5.2

I would start by double checking your web server's config file settings (PHP module & default document) settings.

I don't know if I had the exact same problem, but I was getting file not found errors and internal errors. I ended up fixing it by commenting out all the lines in the .htaccess file in the main directory (I suppose I could have renamed the file). Then I got the login page to work.

Once i got the login page to load the first time I put the .htaccess file back the way it was and everything still worked.
