Roundcube won't recognize passwords to ANY of my email accounts

Roundcube was working fine last week, but this week it mysteriously stopped accepting my passwords for all of my webmail addresses.  I've reset the PWs and logged in successfully through other clients (Thunderbird, Mail2Web) and reinstalled Roundcube several times, but it absolutely refuses to accept my password for my mail client.  

Auto_create_user is enabled in the configuration.

I even asked tech support for my web host provider to look into it but he was stumped.

does your imap server require full address ([email protected]) for login or only the first part (user12)?

it requires a full address.  i have several emails with specific domain suffixes (@cosmod.net) whose domain is parked at my main server (cosmodmusic.com).  My mail server is mail.cosmodmusic.com.
