Delayed receiving messages

I have experienced a delay in receiving emails on Roundcube in the past several weeks. Often the delay is as much as 24 hours. I am not logged in continuously, and even when I am logged in for several hours at a time, I refresh the screen.

Anyone else had this problem? Know how to solve it?

Its not a problem with RoundCube, it would be a problem with your mail server.

yes i think the problem is in your mail server not on roundcube.

You don't have to been logged in to receive mails. Your mail server will handle  unattended the reception of messages for you.

A delay in delivery often points to a network problem, your mail server could not be reached. Check the mail-headers for hops and time stamps to pinpoint the bottleneck.
