Connecting to Roundcube email account via Microsoft Outlook 2010

Has anyone had any success connecting their roundcube email account to Microsoft Outlook 2010?  I was able to connect a Gmail account to Outlook 2010, but roundcube is giving me fits.

Gmail is a webmail AND mail server.
Roundcube is juste a webmail.

So, roundcude have the same goal than outlook. So there is no sense trying to connect outlook on roundcube.

Well, Roundcube needs a mail server to show messages from. If you installed roundcube somewhere, you edited the roundcube config. There were lines like imap server, smtp server. I guess you have filled in there localhost. So the mail server may be on the same machines, as roundcube web application. in that case, you just need to know the external IMAP server address, SMTP server address and write that information to outlook.
