Address Book Groups - How do you send one email to a group you created???

I created a number of different address book groups and I can't see anyway to send an email to an individual group. I found that with the group emails showing, one can click on each name individually and click the 'Compose mail to' button but if the list is more than one page the highlighted addresses won't hold. HELP please?
