[solved] error 501 - Template not loading for one user

Hello,
I have tried to change the template and I got the 501 error....
So I decided to return to the original template (I renamed the folder defaultOLD and renamed after deleted the new one), but I still get the 501 error.

Any suggestion?

Did you change the skin in the main.inc.php or in the settings?

I made the change in the settings, BUT...
Now I have realized that it is only one account that does not load the skin; all other accounts are loading correctly 

Is the skin account based? if so, where can I change that setting?

So I found out that once one changes settings, the preferences are saved in the db !!
I have removed all my preferences from there and it all works as a charm.
