I'm trying to import the tables through phpmyadmin, but I get the following error when I try to do it:

Error

SQL query:

SQL / mysql.initial.sql

MySQL said: Documentation
#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'SQL / mysql.initial.sql' at line 1
Can someone help me out? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I'd love to get this installed and working, but I can't import the tables in to the database via phpmyadmin or SSH access... Someone please help. :(

No, I don't, but I was just able to figure it out and it's working great now! Thanks anyways. :D

I am having a similar error - could you post your solution? Thanks!

Read the f*cking manual.
Try to understand MySQL and phpMyAdmin.
If you don´t have the rights to perform the modifications, ask the administrator.

It´s normally as simple as it is.
phpMyAdmin, do your work and voila it works...

Rgds.

I'm new to MySQL and RoundCube; I'm having this same error and I don't know what to do. I tried it a couple different ways, but so far I've had no luck. Are there any pointers I could get to tell me exactly what I need to do here?

Sometimes reading the manual doesn't help people understand. We all have things we get confused about. It would be my suggestion that instead of being an a@@hole, you either not reply, or try to be a bit nicer about it. The former option would probably be better for some people who can't write nicer messages. If you don't reply, I'm sure someone else who may be nicer will.

It's not like I'm stupid or anything, just new to this. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind, Dreamhost already sets up RoundCube so I don't have to install. Thanks anyhow.
