Hello,

So I have been using the following configuration but then I also get issues with it, so I unsure if this is a bug with roundcube or something wrong with my configuration.

Configuration:

Code: [Select]

Old Style Plug-Ins / Unable to save modifications on calendar events in Roundcube
« Last post by calidancer on November 22, 2022, 07:01:14 PM »
Hi Guys,

My apologies if this was already resolved somewhere here in this forum. If so, can you please point me to the solution? If not, please continue to read.

My environment:
 • Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
 • Roundcube 1.6.0

As suggested in Roundcube webmail project web page (https://roundcube.net/about/) I followed the instructions to install kolab/calendar from packagist.org (https://packagist.org/packages/kolab/calendar). Obviously I installed its dependencies:
• php >= 5.4.0
• roundcube/plugin-installer > 0.1.3
• kolab/libcalendaring: >=3.4.0
• kolab/libkolab: >=3.4.0

In doing so I followed the instructions in the related README documentation and the “Calendar” plugin appears successfully in my Roundcube..

I’m able to create events by filling every single field and also attaching any file. I’m able to create calendars and I’m also able to receive messages a specific amount of minutes before the event happens.

However, the minute I try to make any type of modification to an existing event (it could be anything, even just renaming the even name from event1 to event2) I receive the following message:

Failed to save changes.

In the attached example (see attached sequence of screenshots), I have been trying, for instance, to modify just the name of the event scheduled on Thursday the 24th November 2022 at 11:00 AM from work1to work2:

This is what is printed inside the /var/log/roundcube/errors.log file the minute I click on SAVE:

Code: [Select]

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hello,

I am also having a similar issue, I have submitted an issue about this on github. I believe it is because of the most reason version of php has finally stopped allowing the use of a deprecated function, I have checked the php documents and this was flagged as deprecated months ago and people continued to use it.

It is probably something the developers need to patch, but if your roundcube is working there is nothing to worry about :)

General Discussion / PHP Deprecated: Return type
« Last post by ewok2 on November 21, 2022, 05:17:02 PM »
Hello
My roundcube/dovecot/postfix/nginx server is working fine.
I have add somes plugin (and perform sopme upgrade to make it work.)

But recently I have seen a lot of "PHP Deprecated" message il the "roundcube/logs/errors.log "
I know that deprecated is not equal to an error but each action on my roundcube interface produce "PHP Deprecated" message...

I have the folowing version installed :
Ubuntu 22.04
roundcube : 1.6.0
dovecot : 2.3.16
PHP 8.1.12
nginx/1.18.0

Any idee of there is a way toi remove theses message waiting for a not deprecated version of php ?

Thanks

Roundcube Discussion / Re: Keycloak and Roundcube problem
« Last post by ewok2 on November 21, 2022, 05:07:23 PM »
Hello
Still trying to make it work
With a friend who has also roundcube connected to keyclok we made some cross check.

his roundcube pointing to my keycloak => works
my roundcube pointing to his keycloak => does not work

Some intersesting point, his username are identical to adress mail
My username is the email without the "@domain,.name"

And when not working I get the following error message in dovecot log:
Code: [Select]
Nov 20 19:21:33 auth: Error: oauth2([b]user1[/b],XX.YY.ZZ.SS,<Yi02AuvtMeBVDoA8>): oauth2 failed: Introspection failed: No username returned
I have the feeling it is link to dovecot and roundcube sending username without the @domaine.name .... but don't know how to go further...

Any idee to find the error?

Thanks
