Theme Releases / Re: Contents In Subject Date S...

About four weeks ago (as of 9/20/24), the text in the Subject, Date, Size, and Attachments columns shifted and is now displayed in the wrong columns. There is no text at all in the Subject column, although there was text sent on the Subject lines for all emails.

Here's a screenshot:

tinyurl.com/ms23s7yf

This skewed alignment in the columns doesn't just happen in new emails received, it also occurred in all messages saved in folders, dating back 11 years.

Is there a way I can reset Roundcube to restore the columns' alignments?

I use the Larry interface.

Any help will be appreciated.

Afternoon all!  I am hoping somebody else has had this problem and is able to point me in the right direction.  I work for a small local ISP providing various related services.  We host a number of domains - webhosting/email.  We have just 1 server.  Whenever a user logs into Webmail it will take them to "Webmail Home" even if the checkbox for "Open my inbox when I log in" has been checked.  I have tried several browsers under Win10 and on an Android phone.  If we uncheck and check the box it makes no difference.
For reference we are running CentOS v7.9.2009 STANDARD cPanel Version 110.0.40.  We are unable to upgrade software and the boss is considering migrating to a newer build.

Thanks
Jeff

General Discussion / SMTP send: NOT OK(Connection ...
Last post by mjcc - September 19, 2024, 06:28:24 AM
Hi!

I have ticked all the boxes, installing RC v.1.6.9 on a new server #2.

At the last hurdle when testing SMTP, I get this:

SMTP send:  NOT OK(Connection failed: (Code: -1))

I already have RC v1.3.4 running on server #1, which is the same email server, that the above new install is trying to connect to, and connecting to the same email account.

The email config such as TLS, ports, username and passwords are same I use elsewhere with success.

Any ideas?

Here is my config:

Pending Issues / Sync with Outlook not working ...
Last post by MallowDiva - September 19, 2024, 04:43:52 AM
Hi,

My Roundcube emails have been synchronising perfectly well for about 1 year, both on my phone and my laptop. However, the emails on my laptop simply don´t work at all now (it still works on the phone and I use Outlook on both devices). Also, I use 4 different email addresses and the issue is only with one of them.

I tried to remove the account and install it again. It doesn´t work with the IMAP settings, which is the ones that I always used until now. It works with the POP settings, but none of my old folders are there and it doesn´t sync.

Anyone knows what´s wrong? There must be something no set up properly in my Outlook , but I haven´t changed anything and it worked well before. I´d really like to set things up with IMAP again to access my old folders.

Thanks in advance for your help.

General Discussion / Use shared Sent folder with re...
Last post by aidan - September 18, 2024, 08:12:37 AM
Hi,

This is something I cannot figure out for the life of me. My current situation is that we have a shared mailbox (e.g. help@example.com) that the support team (user1@example.com, user2@example.com) has access to through ACL. Each folder from the help user is shared to the team. Yet, when user1 replies to a message in the shared Inbox from help, user2 cannot see the reply because the messages are copied to the personal Sent folder for user1. Is there any way to specify a second sent folder that replies to the shared inbox get copied to? Is there a plugin? Or will I have to build this solution myself.

Much appreciated.

Pending Issues / Disappearing cursor
Last post by AidanC - September 17, 2024, 11:51:11 PM
Hi all,

I use RoundCube Webmail daily for work, and about 40-50% of the time when I'm composing an email, when I move my cursor to the area in which the email is composed, the cursor disappears temporarily.

A short term fix is to repeatedly move my cursor in and out of that area. Anywhere between 5-20 seconds of doing this, and the cursor appears again. And the issue doesn't pop up again until I am composing a new, different email.

I send many emails a day, so as you can understand, doing this short-term fix every time gets very tedious, and the time spent doing it adds up. Ideally I'd like the cursor to not disappear to begin with.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

General Discussion / Webmail Email Fields Are Skewe...
Last post by carsonite - September 16, 2024, 09:29:50 PM
Several weeks ago (as of 9/16/24), the text (contents) in the Subject line for every incoming message disappeared. This happened in all archived messages dating back 10 years in all folders as well.

I know there are contents in Subject lines because the contents appear when I reply to a message. (Not to mention that all archived messages in folders had text in Subject lines when originally received.)

The fields are out of alignment. Data from the Date field appears in the Subject field. Data from the Attachment  field appears in the Size field, etc.

I've tried dragging and moving the Subject column as well as other columns (e.g., From, Date, Attachments) to see if I can restore the Subject lines' text, but I think this screwed things up even more. This is because data from the Date column started appearing in the Subject line and data from the Size column began appearing in the Flag column.

Here is a link to a screenshot of the current Displayed Messages page:

Is there a way to restore default configurations?

If I'm not stating the problem correctly, please ask for clarification.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Marie
