Then maybe the Intl extension did not get enabled properly. Restart the web server. I have no other clue.

ICU 4.2 was released in 2009. It is a shame that there are systems that do not have it in 2021. I don't think we'll support these systems.

ps. Roundcube 1.6 will require PHP >= 7.3.

My server with CWP-7 have icu-50.2-4.el7_7.x86_64 package installed, so i dont think this is the cause of problem.

In composer.json the "repositories" item should look like this:
Code: [Select]
    "repositories": [
        {
            "type": "composer",
            "url": "https://plugins.roundcube.net"
        }
    ],

I upgraded from 1.4.11 to 1.5.0 today and at the end of the install the scripts completes with this reminder as usual:

NOTICE: Update dependencies by running `php composer.phar update --no-dev`

Ok, I run `php composer.phar update --no-dev` and get the following error:

  [RuntimeException]
  The PEAR repository has been removed from Composer 2.0

This I got from simply following the instructions, but I do not have a strong linux background. Can someone help me out or point me in the right direction here?

Hi.
My server updated automatically to this new release and since 19/10/2021 Rouncube don't show any Inbox mail with the message "Internal Server Error".

I tried and searched for possible solutions, but found nothing to solve.

Is a Centos 7 with PHP 7.4 and Mysql server.

Can you suggest an action plan?

Hi guys, this is my first post on the board,

This error is caused by Spoofchecker PHP exception.

To temporary bypass this error do the folowing:

Other panels, locate file rcube_spoofchecker.php, that will be in another location

For CWP7
   edit file /usr/local/cwpsrv/var/services/roundcube/program/lib/Roundcube/rcube_spoofchecker.php

Line 50 have the folowing:

Code: [Select]
// Spoofchecker is part of ext-intl (requires ICU >= 4.2)
$checker = new Spoofchecker();

Insert this before 50
Code: [Select]
  return false;

After edit/save, will looks this the folowing

Code: [Select]
return false;
// Spoofchecker is part of ext-intl (requires ICU >= 4.2)
$checker = new Spoofchecker();

DONE! your mail is working again! BUT NOTE: No Spoofing will be checked!

Hope Roundcube team solve that soom.

for records, i have tryed the folowing version f PHP: 7.2.34 and PHP 7.3.27, both same error! 7.3.x and up wont works for me, because i need  --with-interbase

According to https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=63790 the Spoofchecker is only available when PHP intl extension is built with ICU >= 4.2. So, I suspect your build does not have it, but it is required.
